Terms of trade
Last updated 28 October 2026
These general terms apply to business accounts and to quotes and orders placed with UNITOP. Each quote and order confirmation states the specific terms for that order; where they differ from these general terms, the quote or confirmation applies.
1. Business customers only
UNITOP supplies registered businesses. We do not sell to consumers. You confirm that you act for a business and are authorised to bind it.
2. Accounts
Applications are approved at UNITOP’s discretion after we verify the business. You must keep your account details accurate and your sign-in private, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. We may suspend an account that is misused or overdue.
3. Product information
Specifications, photographs and descriptions on this website describe our standard range. Minor variations within normal manufacturing tolerances may occur. Where a specification matters for your use, confirm it with us in writing before you order.
4. Quotes and prices
Prices are quoted to approved accounts only, in the currency and Incoterm stated on the quote, and are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless the quote says otherwise.
5. Orders
An order is binding once UNITOP confirms it in writing. Custom, OEM and private-label orders cannot be cancelled after artwork approval or the start of production.
6. Delivery, risk and title
Delivery terms, risk and title follow the Incoterm on the quote or order confirmation. Delivery and arrival dates are estimates and may be affected by production, shipping and customs.
7. Payment
Payment terms are set per account or per order and stated on the quote or invoice.
8. Claims
Inspect goods on receipt. Report shortages or visible damage on the delivery documents and to us in writing within 7 days of delivery, with photographs. Our responsibility for defective goods is limited to replacing them or refunding the price paid for them.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, UNITOP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
